11.28

Looking forward to tomorrow- going out for some photo-shooting, then doing a private session that should be interesting.
Thinking of ditching the Zenfolio. I just don't have time to keep up with it, let alone organize it. We'll see how the new year settles in, but definitely no new albums for the rest of this year. Been doing a lot of editing for other photographers the past couple weeks. I don't even bother posting them cuz they aren't even mine 100%. Though it is fun being able to edit and manipulate other people's work, and I find I'm not so judgemental over someone else's images as I would be of mine.

It's so freaking cold. Especially when you have to stand outside next to your car as the sun is going down, waiting for the police department to come unlock you out of your vehicle.
I suppose I'm making this an annual event for myself.

So much to be thankful for, and I'm not taking advantage of any of it. This has been the week where I've really counted my blessings.

Finished with a whole bunch of editing projects. I'm surprised that I stayed on top of it like I did.
Also surprised by the amount of people responding to my modelmayhem post. This is going to be such a fun collaboration.

Graduation was awesome the other day, we were all very surprised on the entire ceremony. The whole class did a really great job, and it was nice to actually be able to see the training ceneter and meet all the people that I heard so much about the past 8 weeks.
Steve's first day at Shawangunk Correctional Facility is today. I won't be able to talk to him until he's home... and I don't even know what that'll be. Not sure of his hours yet.

Uneventful day. Trying to keep my days low key since he's home now. Getting my stuff together for Christmas...

I was approached with a splinter of an idea for a photo shoot. And of course the wheels in my brain went haywire and I started dreaming up this elaborated idea that developed into a full scale set.
I toyed with this concept for awhile- couple weeks. Made a list of my options. Of course this would be a low budget shoot, using only the immediate available resources. Went to ModelMayhem last night and opened an account to do a casting call in the area.

I'm super excited about this idea, even though it's going to take some time to pull it all together. I just wish I had more time during the day. Winter is coming up fast, so I'm not even counting on getting this together and shot until at least next spring. Hopefully I won't be hindered by time constraint.
I would like to be more elaborate in the description for this, but it's just only an idea at the present time. We'll see how this progresses.

Other news: Graduation is this Friday! Heading up to Albany Thursday night to stay in a hotel. So excited!

11.11 Part II

Today was the first day in some handful of days that I actually had time to sit in front of the pc and edit.
Life has been busy- days have been long. Today, I guess, was no exception. Got to listen to some awesome music- stuff I haven't heard in awhile. Gyptian, Sigur Ros, Portishead. Love that stuff.

I'm having a blast with a new technique. But my back hurts and my stomach is growling and I'm in the mood for a good movie.

Also looking for derelict buildings in/around the tri-state area... and I know of a few as well, so we could possibly exchange info.

11.02

blah blah blah, the hormones have ignited.

Thanks to nerdy computer friends, I'm able to get very detailed information per visitor- including IP addresses, geographic locations, organizations (for spam mail purposes), system information, netspeed, search engine used (if searched), and the exact path the visitor traveled through to get to my site. Meaning, when you come from your myspace, gmail, zenfolio or model mayhem web page, directly to my site(s), it shows me. (Don't worry, I am unable to view your emails or any log on information.)
As for the IP address, I am able to access the location information from which the computer is stationed. I have a web program that allows me to get more detailed information when I submit the IP address to it. That gives me pretty much everything but your blood type and your dogs name.

This information has been available to me for a handful of years now- being that I installed these because they were free to me at the time, and for other reasons. And for a handful of years I've seen repeated views from the same people... which is awesome! I have fans!!
Though out of curiosity, being we had the same "myspace friend" on our list, and because the program led me back to your myspace, I checked it out one day some time ago when I had my original myspace page...
I liked your stuff- but I saw a few "images" updated to your albums that were quite similar to mine. Coincidence? I just assumed so. I couldn't be the only one who ever photographed the same subject. But they were cool, artsy.

Then some information was passed along to me. I rather not go into that because it would open another can of worms and take up too much blog writing space.

I tested out the information I'd be given, and sure enough I (and another person) had plenty of reason to believe that you were under the assumption that we were running some sort of contest with one another. Though I, myself, wasn't aware of this until some time later.

Then the pot started to boil, and it seemed everything I did, you "could do better"... isn't that what you said? I think it was right after you visited my facebook page and saw the profile pic I'd put up, and then you created a profile picture that was pretty much identical. (Should I note that I had not linked my facebook page to any of my sites at the time, so in order for you to find me there, you had to have done a seperate search for me.)
Because of the trackers I have on my computer, I had plenty of proof you were "web stalking" me, (and how immature I feel for typing that word, and this whole blog update itself) but you pretty much admitted to that with every little update you would post. By now, I was visiting your page a few times a week- just because this little contest you were running was becoming quite comical and intriguing. But I was a little confused, I didn't understand where you were coming from with all of it. Honestly, I thought you were just some crazed wanna be.
I know your poem posts were directed towards me. No, my web trackers aren't mind readers, they're not the ones that gave me that info. But I'm smart enough to know that, especially with everything that was going on at that time. And I know you were pointing fingers, accusing me of copying you.
Dearest- I don't need to copy anyone. I'm original enough to come up with my own ideas.

Oh, and then all that myspace email exchange happened- then I got the real scoop. I confronted you and you tried to lie your way out of that- poorly, I may add.
I felt sorry for you when I realized you'd gotten screwed by him. I don't know what you were told, or why, but you were told enough to know what had happened. At that point, I figured I would just leave everything alone and stop visiting your myspace.
Honestly, I didn't really want to start any petty wars. I told you my side and you chose not to believe me. You made it very clear you were upset and wasn't going to get over it any time soon.
I could foresee where this would all go...

I closed out my myspace account- for other reasons, not because of you. But you probably knew that because I had posted for awhile that I was going to do it.
Even though I stopped visiting your page, I still kept getting tracking feedback that you were visiting mine.
I let this go- I just took it as a compliment that you liked my stuff. And hey, if you wanted to copy me, then so be it. All my images are time stamped in photoshop as to their original date (when the photo was taken) and date created (when the photo was altered in photoshop). So no matter how often you would go and say I was copying you, I had the proof.

Because the visits were excessive, some months after I decided to follow the tracking link back to your (new?) myspace. (I say *new* because it wasn't under the same name as the one before, the tracking info was a little different).  I guess my curiosity got the best of me and I wanted to see what you've updated since.
Boy was I surprised. You pretty much lashed out at me on your page with all your status updates and poems. How you were finally "free from your stalker" and "my obsession..." or some crap. Me? I was obsessed??? I can't count how many tracking feedbacks led me back to you.
Are you serious? You're going to resort to internet drama? If you're as busy as you said you were, I don't know where you find the time to maintain this to keep it going.

Bottom line- I guess I just wanted you to know how much I actually do know, and that I know it's been going on for a long time now. The little white lies you tell need to stop and I can still see that you visit me, though you clearly expressed at one point that *I* was the one always coming to your page. If you still have an issue, why not just hash it out with me? Why hide behind your myspace page with your vicious updates. I've only been there a handful of times, so if you think I'm seeing them, I'm not. I could care less about keeping track of every little thing you do, so you can quit with this contest of yours that you started some years ago. Move on.
I was pretty understanding at first with your dislike towards me, but now it's gotten creepy.
I don't know about you, but if I don't like someone, I stay completely away from them.
