Do you remember that part in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, where Clark was locked up in the attic- he found a box of movie reels, and started watching the old home movies on the wall?
Well I found some old cd's with backup photos on them, so one by one I loaded them into my pc and flipped through lots of old pics.
It was like looking at some of these for the first time. So many I'd forgotten about. Some I don't even remember.

Went to a couple spots today with my camera- I don't know why, but I just wasn't feeling too energetic when it came to pressing the shutter button. It was cold, windy. I didn't dress nearly warm enough and my fingers were frozen. Today has been such a wash. I fell asleep on the couch last night to On The Waterfront playing on TCM sometime after midnight, only to wake up a little after 4am to find that Ghoulies was on- and then passed out again until around 6 when I finally crawled into my cold bed.

I finally went to this park down in West Milford. Decent park, though there's no swimming nor boat launching allowed- which leaves only either walking around aimlessly or swinging on the swing set.
I walked aimlessly.

Wanted to bring this huge mess of driftwood home with me. I could chop it up and make some pretty useful things out of it!

Decided to wait until a little warmer weather comes our way to do the Riding Hood shoot. (And it's coming!)
I don't want my volunteer to be too cold and uncomfortable!

Just waiting for the grounds to dry up from all the massive rainfall we've had.
Everything for the Red Riding shoot is good to go! I even found a better location than the original I had planned to shoot at.


I'm excited to become a member of the Long Pond Ironworks- not sure what exactly that'll get me other than a pass for the "Behind the Bushes and Waterwheel Tour" coming up in a few weeks. Really looking forward to the relaxing hike.... get some more pics of one of my favorite places.

Being that the preparation for the first photoshoot I had in mind will be lengthy, I've decided to go ahead with another project in the meantime.


Little Red Riding Hood.
I have all but 2 things I'm waiting on, and then we're ready to go! So within two weeks, I will be shooting it.
I'm so excited! I have so many ideas for this, and they're all going to be awesome. My Red Riding Hood volunteer is also so very excited to get this going.


I would really love to just lay it out all right now here on blogger, but I need to leave some suspense. A little something for your imagination. It's probably not what you think it will be............. or is it?!

Ransacked Ebay to find the perfect vintage dress for a photoshoot idea that appears to be in the works.
Still have a lot of costume material to make/buy, so nothing too promising.... yet. I know everyone will love it though!
When I make more headway with it, then I'll spill the ideas.

I know, evil- right?
