Book Re-release

A very few of you may already know that I had self published a book back in 2005. The Notebook Diaries- A Photo/Journal Memoir. The book is a collection of poems that I had written over a period of a decade- they are very personal and were always kept very private.

This was a project that started out being something only for myself- My intentions were never to release this book out to the public. However, I was convinced by someone close to me at the time that I should allow it to be made available to everyone- so for a brief period, I had made that decision.

Though after realizing that the book wasn't entirely ready for release, I retired it. There were several issues that needed to be resolved before anyone's eyes had the chance to see it.
By the time I had retired the book- I once again stood my ground on not wanting these poems to be made public to anyone.

Six years later I have decided to revise the book and re-release it. This has been a decision in the making for the past several months. There's been a lot of work into revising it already, but finally I have just about come to the end, and the book "The Notebook Diaries- A Memoir" will be made available- with changes- A final product of what this book should have been in the first place. I'm hoping to have this all together and avail for purchase by the new year.

A little about this book, for wondering minds: I've been into writing poetry for as long as I can remember- writing has always been an outlet for me. It was my escape from my not-so-pleasant surroundings as a teenager. Getting lost in my own mind was something I did often. These poems were my way of coping, trying to keep the negative influences of the outside world far away from me. They're harsh, they're honest and they're me, a thousand times over. Allowing anyone to see these is like opening up my personal diaries and showing them to strangers. These are my diaries, they just happen to be disguised as poems.
So- hopefully some of you will be looking forward to this when it's time for the re-release!
